Why Do I Focus on Women Over 50?

Because I'm a woman well over 50 myself, experiencing the many ups and downs that comes with this stage of life, so I understand the challenges women face at this time, more than any other decade. For a lot of women, the 50‑plus decade brings a unique set of difficulties. Children often leave home for university, leaving a void in your life, long‑term marriages may need to reevaluate, or they may dissolve. The loss of a partner after long term-care or a sudden parting can be earth shattering. And if single, still seeking a loving relationship, even with financial stability, the feeling “ of not yet complete” in love, can be profoundly unsettling. These feelings or experiences are not merely obstacles; although they may feel like it, they also provide opportunities for growth, self‑discovery, renewed purpose and new perspectives.A Proven Path ForwardBefore founding Rhodes Harvey Introductions in 2002, I researched and interviewed 100's of men and women who were willing to share their experiences on dating, the ups and downs, the ones who were not who they say they were to those serial daters or just looking for casual intimacy. During my younger years I studied the psychology of relationships and attraction and guided countless women through the intricacies of connection and commitment. Chemistry, physical attraction or becoming physically intimate does not guarantee a committed, loving relationship. Emotional intimacy is not only the route to lasting love, but the essence of increasing a lasting bond.

In 2013 I earned a Diploma in Coaching (Dip.Couns) and an EQ‑i certification deepening my ability to blend emotional intelligence with evidence‑based techniques. 2015 selected as one of the top ten dating and relationship coaches in the UK. 2025, my focus shifted entirely to coaching. Finding love at any age can be tricky, but over 50 it can be daunting. I'm here to make your journey a little less daunting and a lot more successful.
